Julian Francis

Chairman



Julian W. Francis, CBE, a former Governor of the Central Bank of The Bahamas and former Executive Chairman of the Bahamas Telecommunications Company Limited, is a business and financial consultant. He also serves on boards of numerous commercial and civic organizations, including the Bahamas Heart Centre, and is a trustee of the Lucayan International School in Grand Bahama.

Vincenzo Piantedosi, former Senior Executive Vice President at BSI SA, was responsible for Merchant and Investment Banking as well as the Corporate and Wealth Management Division of private and institutional international clientele. Since 1991, Vincenzo was appointed to the Board of most of the BSI Group Foreign Affiliates . In 1998, he became the Managing Director of three Milan based BSI Group affiliates, which in 2002, he merged into Banca BSI Italia SpA. Vincenzo also served as a Board and Audit Committee member of major BSI Group international affiliates from 2004 to 2012.

Sir Michael L. Barnett is a member of Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn 1978 (Honorary Bencher) and was called to the Bar in 1978. He was a partner in the law firm of Graham Thompson & Co for more than 25 years prior to being appointed to the Senate and a Member of The Cabinet of the Bahamas as Attorney General in 2008. In August 2009, he was appointed the Chief Justice of The Bahamas and served as the head of the judiciary for more than five years. Sir Michael has returned to Graham Thompson as of counsel.

Abhilash Bhachech is a former Inspector of the Banks & Trust Companies division with the Central Bank of The Bahamas where he headed the prudential supervision and regulatory oversight over 265 banks, trusts and credit unions in The Bahamas. His career spans success and experience in Canada, USA and India that includes senior financial regulatory roles in Canada; representation in the Basel Committee sub-groups and international regulatory standard setting bodies; public accounting; management consulting and international banking and establishing information technology enterprise in financial services. Abhilash serves on the Boards of international financial institutions and also conducts short-term advisory assignments in institutional strategies and international regulatory development work for the World Bank, IMF and Toronto Centre.

Tanya R. Hanna is a Partner in the law firm of Graham Thompson & Co, Nassau office, and former Chairman of the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP) for The Bahamas. Tanya's specialty is trust law, and she has represented many major trust companies as well as private individuals in a wide spectrum of trust and corporate matters.

Philip Stubbs is a former Country Managing Partner of Ernst & Young, Chartered Accountants. His tenure encompassed thirty-seven years of experience in the accounting, auditing and business advisory services, serving clients in the international, public and domestic sectors. He is the former Chairman of the Securities Commission of The Bahamas, Chairman of the Compliance Commission and Director of the Central Bank of The Bahamas. Philip serves on an array of other Boards and Committees utilizing his various expertise and knowledge in governance and oversight.
